Shannon Bird, RAC
Certified Reflexology Therapist
As someone that used reflexology to gain relief from a chronic health issue in the 80’s and 90’s, I have loved it from the beginning. Taking the foot reflexology course as an interest in 2008, I started providing reflexology to friends and family. In 2010 I became certified with the Reflexology Association of Canada (RAC). I started to practice reflexology in a clinic setting and have never looked back. My goal is to provide a therapeutic and tranquil experience for anyone who wishes reflexology.
Reflexology is natural, non-invasive healing art based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet, hands, and ears that correspond with every part of the body. Through application of pressure on these reflexes – with hands only – Reflexology relieves tension, improves circulation, opens the flow in blocked nerves and helps promote the natural functioning and healing of the body. Reflexology does not diagnose or prescribe. The whole body is treated rather than a specific condition. Reflexology helps to balance the physical, mental and emotional aspects of your whole body.
