Monica Kelly, Registered Physiotherapist, Clinic Owner
Monica Kelly completed her Honours degree in Psychology at the University of Toronto and went on to complete her Physiotherapy degree at Queen's University in 2001. Monica has worked in private practice for 17 years during which time she has been affiliated with Queen's University as a clinical instructor. She has a strong interest in Sports rehabilitation. She was the head therapist at the Royal Military College covering all varsity sports including hockey, rugby, soccer, volleyball, basketball, and more. She was also the head therapist for the Kingston Rugby Club for many years. She has worked as a therapist at many sporting events including the Ontario Summer Games and the Canada Winter Games.
Monica constantly strives to enhance her knowledge by taking courses regularly and keeping up to date on current literature. She has completed numerous post graduate courses in manual therapy, soft tissue release, fascial manipulation, acupuncture, sports injuries, therapeutic and athletic taping, osteoporosis (Monica is BoneFit certified), oncology rehabilitation, and urban poling (Monica is a master trainer with Urban Poling, teaching courses to other therapists).
Monica enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 young children. She leads an active lifestyle with her family.
Brody Langlois, Registered Physiotherapist
Brody Langlois is a graduate of the Queen’s University Masters of Science in Physical Therapy program. Prior, he completed a Bachelor of Science honors specialization in Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario, where he graduated on the Dean’s honour list. He has a strong interest in sports therapy. His focus for physiotherapy is on using hands-on techniques, including soft tissue release and exercise, to promote normal function. He has completed course instruction on treatment of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction. He is working towards progressing his knowledge and skills in the fields of manual therapy and acupuncture. He is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, including the sports medicine, private practice and orthopaedic divisions.
Originally from the Ottawa Valley, Brody moved to the Durham region in 2015. Brody is an avid snowboarder and curler in the winter. He is a certified snowboarding instructor with the Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors, and enjoys teaching in his spare time. He enjoys spending time with family and friends at his family cottage in the summer. He is also a certified scuba diver, and has been on several Caribbean diving adventures including a dive with sharks in Bahamas.

Jacqueline (Jackie) Ryder, Registered Physiotherapist

Jackie Ryder received her Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics at St. Francis Xavier University and afterwards attended Dalhousie University graduating with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy in 2009. After working in private practice in Prince Edward Island for seven years, Jackie and her family moved to Bowmanville, as her husband took on a job coaching with the Oshawa Generals. The primary focus of Jackie’s practice is to provide quality one-to-one treatment where the client takes an active approach to management of their condition.
Jackie is always looking for opportunities to enroll in further education opportunities that will benefit her clients. Some of the courses that Jackie has further training in include: McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis, Mulligan Concept, APTEI – Lumbo-Pelvic Dysfunction, Soft-Tissue Release, Kinesiotape, The Running Clinic – New Trends in Prevention of Running Injuries, and Yoga Fit Level 1. Janelle Reyes, Registered Physiotherapist
Janelle Reyes is a registered physiotherapist originating from the Philippines. She has comprehensive experience in treating orthopedic and neurological conditions in all age groups. She worked in a variety of hospital and clinic settings in the Philippines and was a professor of physiotherapy and nursing students at the Far Eastern University. She successfully completed the Canadian Physiotherapy National Examination in 2014. She has an ongoing interest and involvement in the study of orthopedic and sports related injuries and rehabilitation practices. She progressed her medical knowledge and physiotherapy techniques through continuing education courses in manual therapy, soft tissue mobilizations, acupuncture, and other treatment skills. Brittany is a Registered Massage Therapist that is dedicated to healthy living and alternative health care. She is registered and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and a graduate with honours from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy Toronto. She has also completed a Bachelor of Physical Education (BPhEd) from Brock University where she became dedicated to health and exercise. Through Massage therapy and exercise rehabilitation, she is committed to help treat and prevent musculoskeletal injury, reduce stress, and maximize athletic performance. She believes in personalizing a massage towards the individual needs of each client to reach their goals. Brittany is a Level 1 Crossfit trainer and personal trainer and is able to apply her knowledge of the human body to treat a wide spectrum of clients including athletes with sport-related injuries as well as the general public.

Jeffrey graduated from Fleming College in 2014 with an advanced diploma in massage therapy and received his BSc (Hons) Degree in Health & Leisure with Massage in 2018 from the Institute of Technology Tralee, Ireland. As a massage therapist, fascial stretch therapist and active member of the Canadian Sports Massage Therapist Association (CSMTA), Jeff has focused his practice working with various levels of athletic pursuits from college and university sports to semi-professional teams, and national level athletes. Kevin Persaud, Registered Massage Therapist

Kevin became a Certified Bodytalk Practitioner in 2014 and began practicing at the Toronto Bodytalk Community Clinic. In 2016 he became a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. By the end of 2018 he had earned an Advanced Diploma in Massage Therapy from Centennial College where he graduated with high honours. He currently practices as a Registered Massage Therapist while pursuing a diploma in Orthomolecular Nutrition.
As a former competitive athlete, Kevin is focused on optimizing and tracking performance. He performs in-depth assessments that find the musculoskeletal imbalances leading to a client’s current condition. He displays those imbalances to the client, makes the necessary correction and then reassesses to ensure a positive change has been achieved.

Dr. Tania Maalouli, DC

Dr. Tania Maalouli is a graduate of the Queen’s University Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Kinesiology, and went on to complete her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2019. Tania is fluent in both English and French and provides evidence-based and patient centered care. Her form of therapy includes techniques of Manipulation (with and without drop pieces), instrument assisted and manual Soft-Tissue Therapy, Vibration Therapy, Clinical Acupuncture (TCM), Cupping Therapy, Activator, Elastic-Therapeutic Taping, and Exercise Therapy.

Nicole Osinga completed her Honours Bachelor of Applied Human Nutrition at the University of Guelph. She then went on to complete her Masters of Applied Nutrition at the University of Guelph and completed practical training in the form of a dietetic internship to become registered with the College of Dietitians of Ontario. Nicole is currently an elected member of council for the College of Dietitians. Nicole is also a member of Dietitians of Canada, and is actively involved in the Durham Region Dietitians group.
Nicole has a passion for nutrition coaching and promoting a healthy lifestyle. She helps clients translate nutrition research into practical means. Nicole has a passion for cooking and is often found experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. Nicole often posts recipes and nutrition articles on her website. She also writes regular pieces for various media outlets, including the Toronto Star.
Nicole has worked with a variety of patient populations, including older adults in long-term care, along with people with cancer in the community. As someone that used reflexology to gain relief from a chronic health issue in the 80’s and 90’s, I have loved it from the beginning. Taking the foot reflexology course as an interest in 2008, I started providing reflexology to friends and family. In 2010 I became certified with the Reflexology Association of Canada (RAC). I started to practice reflexology in a clinic setting and have never looked back. My goal is to provide a therapeutic and tranquil experience for anyone who wishes reflexology.
Reflexology is natural, non-invasive healing art based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet, hands, and ears that correspond with every part of the body. Through application of pressure on these reflexes – with hands only – Reflexology relieves tension, improves circulation, opens the flow in blocked nerves and helps promote the natural functioning and healing of the body. Karen Bailey, Registered Kinesiologist

Karen Bailey completed her Honours Bachelor of Science, Human Kinetics degree at the University of Guelph. She brings to the team over 30 years of private practice experience, mostly in Durham Region. Karen has completed many post-graduate courses including functional abilities evaluation, chronic pain, urban poling, therapeutic taping (K-tape), osteoporosis (BoneFit certified), oncology rehabilitation, soft tissue release, and exercise prescription and aging. In 2017 she completed her 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training (200-RYT) with Synergy Movement, and in 2019 she completed her Certificate of Restorative Teacher Training with Glow Yoga.

Hymers Wilson, Registered Social Worker
Hymers Wilson is a Registered Social Worker and a Counsellor. He and his wife Joy have been married for 36 years. They have three adult children.
He and his family came to Canada from the UK 28 years ago. He received his Master of Social Work degree in 1997 from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario, and then worked for a community mental health agency in Muskoka as a Crisis Support Worker and Counsellor for seven years.
Hymers recently retired as a Counsellor at a community college, where he worked for ten years counselling students with a variety of mental health (including anxiety, depression, psychosis and bipolar disorders) and emotional (including relationship, grief and problems. He is currently a certified safeTALK (suicide prevention) trainer.
In addition to being a fitness enthusiast who is regularly in the gym, Hymers took up cycling in 2013 and the highlight of his cycling experiences include participation in the 2014 and 2016 Rides to Conquer Cancer Cancer, each occasion riding for 200 kilometers from Toronto to Niagara in 2 days. Hymers has raised a total of just over $5000 for cancer research through sponsors of his rides. He is a member of the Oshawa Cycling Club, riding regularly in the warmer spring and summer months
Tegan Bodnar - Office Manager
Tegan completed an honours Bachelor of Arts, Psychology degree at McMaster University in 2011, graduating top of her class. For the better part of the last decade, she has worked to develop her customer service skills and has dove headfirst into a variety of industries, ranging from home décor to loose leaf tea. People are at the heart of everything she does – whether they be customers, clients or coworkers, Tegan works hard to ensure she provides the best possible experience, each and every time. Many come to know her for her warm and welcoming smile and pleasant demeanour.
When not at the office, Tegan enjoys relaxing in nature, where she frequently combines her passions for photography and bird watching. She also loves travelling, live music and spending time with her family and friends. More often than not, she is accompanied by her dog, Murphy.
Holly Cousins - Administrative Assistant
Holly comes to us with 20 years of human resource/administrative and customer service experience. She is also a licensed esthetician. Every opportunity she has experienced is meant to tie in with her passion for helping people feel good about themselves.
As an active volunteer in our community, Holly has worked with the Parent Association at schools and two hockey organizations for 10 years. Holly enjoys giving back to the community that her and her family have lived and thrived in. Every Christmas Holly adopts a family and along with friends and family, she fund raises and delivers a gift basket to the family.
Outside of the office, Holly's pride and joy is her family. She is a full-fledged hockey mom! Her calendar is filled with sports schedules and events. When not in the office, you will usually find her during the winter months in a hockey arena cheering on her son or her nieces and nephews. She also manages a hockey team in her spare time.
Holly also spends some of her time planning her families next big event or backyard party. These passions pair well with her love for food and wine.
Tess Newey - Administrative Assistant
Tess completed a bachelor of Science, Recreation and Leisure at Canadore College and Brock University in 2014. She continued on to earn a postgraduate certificate in Event Management from Durham College. For the past 11 years, Tess has been the welcoming face and customer service liaison for her family run business. She also took her past two summers to work as the lead sales associate for the pro shop and housekeeping supervisor at a luxury fishing resort in beautiful British Columbia. Upon her return to Ontario, Tess has made the decision to pursue a career in administration while keeping her roots in customer service as this is where she thrives! Clients will come to know Tess for her warm and welcoming attitude and friendly face.
Outside of the office, Tess stays busy coaching and playing volleyball as well as showing her family dogs in the conformation and agility rings. In the upcoming months, Tess is excited to spend time with her new puppy!
Taylor Glasser - Administrative Assistant
Taylor has recently joined our team as a front desk receptionist after successfully completing a 5 month co-op placement with us. Taylor has a strong interest in sport and athlete injuries such as concussions. She is currently attending high school and wants to pursue a post secondary education in athletic therapy or become a sports medicine physician. When not at the clinic Taylor enjoys to spend her time staying active riding horses, dancing and watching hockey. Taylor is excited to be working with our team and is looking forward in becoming more involved in health and wellness!
